How you use it

Connect the account for the selected environment, check the settings and complete a sandbox order before enabling live payments. Customers pay on CoinGate’s hosted page. The plugin requests the order status from CoinGate before applying the payment result in the store.

Designed for everyday use

Connect → Verify → Test → Launch separates configuration from a completed payment test.
A new payment method starts unpublished in TEST mode; switching to LIVE is a deliberate action.
Connection and callback diagnostics point to settings that need attention.
Order-status checks help identify configurations that would not return stock after a failed or cancelled order.
Provider readback and duplicate-notification handling are built into the order-processing code.
A command-line reconciliation tool lets a technical operator recheck a selected order with CoinGate.

Help when something needs attention

Review the selected environment, callback HTTPS address and order-status settings. For example, diagnostics can warn that the chosen cancellation status does not return products to stock. Correct the indicated setting, then check again. A successful connection check is not a completed payment; a callback probe from your server does not prove that CoinGate can reach it through your firewall.

Before you choose

You need your own CoinGate account and API token for the selected environment. Sandbox and live credentials are separate. Provider approval, fees, supported payment assets and settlement options are governed by CoinGate and your account. The plugin is not a wallet or an investment service.

A complete CoinGate sandbox payment, provider order readback and incoming callback have not yet been verified for this release. Installation checks do not establish that payment processing works end to end.

Known limitations

End-to-end verification with CoinGate is still outstanding.
Every supported PHP version and every combination of store extensions have not been tested.
Your firewall or CDN must allow CoinGate callbacks. Diagnostics cannot confirm every external network configuration.

Release notes

Version 1.0.0 includes guided configuration, connection and callback diagnostics, order-status handling and command-line reconciliation. The reviewed code uses a separate CoinGate namespace to avoid the earlier shared-class collision. The supplied package fingerprint identifies the exact release; later packaging changes must be recorded separately.

Installation, licence and support

Includes 12 months of updates and email support for one nominated website. The software remains available under its GPL licence.

You may use the installed plugin indefinitely. The end of the update period does not disable it.

Renewal is optional: €80 per year for another 12 months of updates and email support. There is no automatic renewal. Without renewal, the installed product is not disabled, but access to new releases and included support ends. Platform or provider changes may require an update; indefinite use does not mean indefinite compatibility. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Contact us within 14 days of purchase if the plugin cannot be installed in the published supported environment. If support cannot resolve installation, we refund the plugin price. This is a conditional installation guarantee; your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
