Joomla / JoomShopping
Stripe for JoomShopping
Accept payments through Stripe and make unsettled or unclear order states easier to investigate.
Explore the product
The customer selects Stripe as the payment method. This screen shows the selection step, before payment.
Shown in a demonstration environment.
What it does
Stripe checkout for JoomShopping, with configuration previews and tools for investigating payment status.
How you use it
The customer pays on Stripe’s hosted page. The plugin verifies the result against the order. In the administrator interface, review recorded payment states, event history and the suggested next step.
Designed for everyday use
- Stripe-hosted payment keeps card entry on the provider’s page.
- Payment confirmation is checked against the order and selected environment.
- A configuration preview makes saved settings and status mappings easier to review.
- Webhook-secret checks help identify incomplete notification setup.
- The payment-status view distinguishes recorded paid, pending, stale and unknown states.
- A case export collects selected diagnostic facts for support without exposing credentials.
Help when something needs attention
See why a recorded payment needs attention and what to review next. Unknown or incomplete evidence stays unresolved. The investigation view explains existing records; it does not itself change a payment or issue a refund.
Before you choose
Requires a supported Joomla/JoomShopping environment and your Stripe account and webhook setup. Available payment methods and provider charges depend on your account.
Version and requirements
| Platform | Joomla / JoomShopping |
|---|---|
| Release | Version 1.4.6 |
| Requirements | Joomla: 4–6 · JoomShopping: 5.9.4 · PHP: ≥8.1 |
| Provider and server requirements | Check your Joomla, JoomShopping and PHP versions before purchase. The plugin requires cURL with SSL/TLS, trusted certificates, JSON and outbound HTTPS to the provider. A merchant account and provider fees are separate. |
Installation, licence and support
One website licence includes 12 months of updates and email support.
You may use the installed plugin indefinitely. The end of the update period does not disable it.
Renewal is optional: €80 per year for another 12 months of updates and support. There is no automatic charge. Changes to Joomla, JoomShopping, PHP or the provider may require an update; indefinite use does not mean indefinite compatibility.
Mandatory consumer rights, statutory remedies and legally required updates are not conditional on paid renewal.
Contact us within 14 days of purchase if the plugin cannot be installed in the published supported environment. If support cannot resolve installation, we refund the plugin price. This is a conditional installation guarantee; your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Email support: [email protected]. Include your order number, versions and error text. Do not send passwords, secret keys or card details.
Using several payment plugins together requires a release with verified shared-library compatibility. The payment tests described here were performed separately.
KnowledgeProvider verification and release changes
A sandbox payment passed on version 1.4.5-experience.3 on 2026-10-10 (Europe/Riga). Compared with 1.4.5-experience.3, version 1.4.6 changes only licence information, version references, documentation and file-integrity metadata. No separate provider test was performed for version 1.4.6. The licence text has been updated to v002. This wording update does not itself grant new licensing rights.
Current release: 1.4.6. Provider evidence: 1.4.5-experience.3, 2026-10-10 (Europe/Riga). No separate provider test for 1.4.6.
Version 1.4.6. Provider check: 1.4.5-experience.3; 1.4.6 was not separately tested with the provider.
The payment check did not test storefront checkout or the public callback. The payment plugins were tested individually, with the other payment plugins disabled.
