PayPal for JoomShopping
Check the release passport before installation: Joomla 4–6; PHP ≥ 8.1. JoomShopping 5.9.4 is the evidenced version. cURL, trusted TLS certificates, JSON and outbound HTTPS are required. A declared minimum is not a complete compatibility matrix.
Installation and setup
Back up the site files and database. In Joomla Administrator, open System → Install → Extensions → Upload Package File. Upload interoperia-paypal-joomshopping-1.3.13.zip without unpacking it. Start on a test copy of your shop and keep the payment method unpublished while configuring it.
Open JoomShopping → Options → Payments → Paypal → Config, using alias paypal_joomshopping, not the built-in PayPal method. In your PayPal Developer Dashboard, open Apps & Credentials and take the Client ID and client secret from the same Sandbox app. Create its webhook using the exact HTTPS URL and event list shown by the plugin, then enter the webhook ID. Select Save and check connection. Use a separate sandbox buyer. Blank secrets retain saved values; the explicit Remove control clears them.
Test and live payments
Use credentials and notifications from the same provider account and environment. Test on a staging shop with the provider’s test tools. Publish the method there for your test users so that it appears at checkout. Confirm both the provider payment result and the matching shop order. Before accepting real payments, select the live environment, enter its credentials and notification settings, and review access and publication. A successful test does not verify live mode.
Cancelled, failed or unconfirmed payments
Keep Paid different from Pending, Failed and Cancelled in the status mapping. A return to the shop is not proof of payment. If the customer cancels or payment fails, do not fulfil the order as paid. If the result is uncertain, compare the provider record with the exact shop order before retrying; avoid creating a second payment while the first is unresolved.
Updates and support
The included or renewed update and support period is shown with your order. When it ends, updates and support end; the installed plugin continues working. Renewal is optional. Future changes to your shop, hosting or provider may require an update.

Which ZIP should I install?
Use the product installer named above, from your Interoperia download. Source, review and evidence archives are not installers.
Do I need a provider account?
Yes. You supply your own merchant account and the credentials required below. Provider agreements and processing fees are separate.
Why is the payment method missing at checkout?
Check the native JoomShopping publication and access settings. An unpublished method is not offered to shoppers.
Why is a saved secret field blank?
Blank secret fields retain the saved value. Do not paste a replacement merely because the field looks empty.
Does saving configuration prove the connection works?
No. Saving settings, checking a connection and confirming a payment are separate steps.
Why is an order still pending?
The payment may be unfinished or its result unconfirmed. Check the provider record and notification settings before changing the order status.
Can I switch accounts while payments are pending?
Resolve pending payments before changing the account or environment so that their results can still be matched.
What should I do after updating?
Back up first, install the newer product ZIP through Joomla and review the retained settings. Recheck the connection and test the payment flow on your staging shop.
Does the plugin stop when support expires?
No. Expiry ends updates and support, not the right to keep using the installed plugin.
Does a minimum version mean every later version is tested?
No. Compare your environment with the release requirements and tested environment. Test a different setup on a copy of the shop first.

The installation evidence includes earlier package versions. For the current version, the separate sandbox payment is proven; a new full installation matrix is not.
Using several payment plugins together requires a release with verified shared-library compatibility. The payment tests described here were performed separately.
